Level select:
Press B(2), L, R, Left(2), Select at the title screen. Then, press Up to select a new level.

Sound test:
Hold L + R and press Start at the title screen. Press A to select the sounds.

3D effects:
Press Select(2), A, B, Select(2), X, Y, Select(2), L, R, Up at the title screen. The title screen will turn red to confirm correct code entry. Press Select to toggle 3D effects.

Black Lighting ship:
Successfully complete the game and allow the credits to complete. The game will restart at level 1, but you will be playing in the Black Lightning ship that you had during the final level. Note: The ship will not change between levels.

Hint: Bonus ships:
Get the indicated number of points to unlock the corresponding bonus ship in the next level. Note: You will also gain an extra life.

BM 4 Reform: 170,000 points
H Wing: 30,000 points
P-7: 60,000 points
RW 91: 80,000 points
X 003: 140,000points
