Hold Start + Select on controllers one and two, then collect a small heart from the small yellow boxes. The Capcom theme will play to confirm correct code entry. You will now have maximum hearts, 990 coins, 9 lives, the Magician and Fireman outfit upgrades, and 990 seconds on the timer.
